EC32 - Application Example 1
The application shown on this page is used for verifying the correct assemply of a specific motor to a transmission gear box of a vehicle. The application receives a sequence of production orders via network and stores them into a FIFO. The data constists of a Production ID, a consecutive number, a motor code and a gear box code. The record to be processed is shown in the display and also send to two radio frequency connected scanners. When the components are extracted from a storage pool, the attached barcode is captured with the scanner, sent to the system and compared with the required code. The next record is supplied only, if both codes are matching. The information of the record that was processed is sent back to the host system.
