EC32 - UDPTEST
The application shown on this page was used to test UDP network communications. Its purpose is to handle 16 channels. Records of 132 bytes are created automatically, stored into one FIFO per channel and send them to 16 differnet host systems. Each of the 16 host systems is a member in a list of up to 4 alternative hosts, which will chosen if the current communication link is broken. Depending on the CPU used, the settings of the trace-levels and the disk activities a transmission rate of up to 60 records per second and more is possible. The picture shows the status screen of the application.
