MMI Cabinet with Touchscreen based upon a Rittal
cabinet
The most recent technique for setting up a Data
Collection Point is the usage of a MMI PC cabinet like shown
in the following picture. This technique also has some advantages and
disadvantages:
Advantage:
-
Requires
lesser space
- Less expensive
- Completely closed, no maintenance for fans or
filters.
Disadvantage:

Optional: Side handles, attached full size keyboard. The rack may be
mounted on a floor pedestal or by hanging from a wall. The cabling is
routed either through the mounting pole from the bottom or through the
hanging arm from the top.
If the front keyboard is omitted, a small keyboard for maintenance
activities my be placed inside the cabinet.
The rack is equipped with a Touch-Screen (EloTouch), resolution 1280x1024
pixels. The cabinet is closed; e.g. no ventilation from the outside is
required.
